Welcome to Thuringia! Thuringia is a Free State of Germany, located in its very center. The Germans themselves call it "The Green Heart of Germany".ERFURT The Erfurt city is the capital of Thuringia. It is among the most modern and beautiful German cities. You can wonder at the great buildings of the past which belong to different epochs and architectural styles. The Erfurt Cathedral does not yield even to the great Cologne Cathedral in beauty and impression. Numerous squares, cultural and historical memorials stand in the closest vicinity with modern buildings, such as the Erfurt railway station and the exibition center as well as numerous shops and supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, stadiums and ice palace. All of them leave unforgettable impression of the Thuringian capital.
WEIMAR Another Thuringian city, famous by its ancient culture, is Weimar. it can take hours to speak about it but, as a proverb says, a picture paints a thousand words. Not far away from Weimar there is a memorial to people's pain and fascists' crimes, the former concentration camp Buchenwald. Nowadays it is a reminder to the people of things that must not happen again.
EISENACH Eisenach is a city at the base of Wartburg mountains. Martin Luther called Eisenach "my sweet town", Johann Wolfgang von Goethe wrote in 1777: "The place is beautiful". These are two short descriptions of the city and its surroundings came from the past centuries but they are still actual. Eisenach has saved its uniqueness: history and modernity form a very harmonic symbiosis. Discover the charm of a wonderful city in the heart of Germany! We offer you recently reconstructed Center of Recreation "german-russian project Hotel-Falkenhorst", which is located in one of the most beautiful spots of Thuringia, on the border of thuringian forest, 5 kilometers from the world famous german olympic center - Oberhof, 8 kilometers from the newly build superhighway A71 (descent 17) and 16 kilometers from the highway A4 (descent 42), by the Crawinkel town.
